The second generation of the Parallel frameset, with slight iterations in geometry, an updated front fork, seatpost and an all new colour way! 

A frameset that can do it all: breeze through corners, make others jealous during group rides, and accompany you on an all-day adventure. Plus, you have the flexibility to build it with the parts of your preference, as this frame is compatible with all common bike components. With its deep metallic blue color, rest assured it will catch some eyes. 

We’ve curated the framesets with parts that we’ve noticed are most commonly used. If you need or prefer any of these parts in a different setup, we’d be happy to help. Just reach out and let us know your preference.

Cable integration options

Our frames come as standard with a semi-integrated cable guide pack: a semi-integrated headset on disc brake versions and a non-integrated headset on rim brake frames.

We include the parts to set up your bike with a SRAM AXS groupset. You can find more details about these parts and integration options in the page below. If you prefer other parts, don’t be shy – let us know!

Cable routing options
Stem

The color of the stem and fork matches and depends on the frame color.

- XS and S-sized frames come standard with a 90mm stem
- M and M/L-sized frames come standard with a 100mm stem
- L and XL-sized frames come with a 110mm stem

We understand that stem length is very personal. If you prefer a different length, we’re happy to accommodate that for you.

Cutting length

The fork needs to be cut to your specific needs. As standard, we send them uncut. This means the fork steerer tube is 300mm long.

For the fork, this means it sticks out of the frame more on smaller frames than on larger ones. If you prefer this to be cut, just let us know – we’d be happy to do that for you.

Frame
Made of 7005 series Aluminium. Tubes are double butted. Frame is smooth welded and after welding had a T4 and T6 Heat treatment and got shot peened.

Fork
Columbus Futura Disc Integrated. Full carbon fibre. 1,5 to 1,125 inch tapered steered. Flat mount brakes, made for 140 or 160mm rotors. Internal cable routing.

Headtube
Made for Integrated headsets, IS52 bearing size. This results in the option to integrate cable's and brake hoses through the headtube and upper bearing.

Bottom Bracket
T47 threaded bottom bracket. 86,5mm wide, made for internal bearings. BB's made for 85,5 or 86mm also fit. (Yes, these are different 'standards')

Tyre clearance
Designed for 28mm, but easily fits 25 to 30mm. Other sizes might fit, depending on rim and tyre combination.

28 inch or 700c.

Front axle
12x100mm thru-axle. Axle is 120mm long with M12x1.5 thread.

Rear axle
12x142mm thru-axle. Axle is 162mm long with M12x1.5 thread.

Stem
Raamwerk aluminium stem in matching color. Made for optional out-front mount, to mount your Garmin, Wahoo, Karoo, Action Camera, front light, and/or bell.

Seatpost
Fully integrated. With 34.9mm seat mast (included). Up to 40mm of adjustabillity in height. Removing the Integrated Seat Post is also possible, in that case you can mount a 27.2mm seat post.

Build

It's a joy to be dreaming about the parts to go on your new bike. We made the Road Race frameset in such a way, that all common road groupsets, wheels and parts fit onto the frameset.

Mechanical, Electronic, Hydraulic or Wireless. All are possible for both shifting and braking on rim- and discbrake. The choice is yours!

Ride

A Raamwerk Road Frameset has a high lateral stiffness. We designed it this way, so you will feel confident when cornering. We are convinced this confidence makes you faster and let's you have more fun when riding.

The geometry is chosen in such a way that you can race your local crit, but are also able to go out on an all day adventure.

Upgrade

Tinkering on your bike is fun. Making it better, faster or better suitable for you is part of the cycling hobby. We make it as simple as possible, with open standards and options to integrate, but no need. It's your choice.

Re-use

We love aluminium as a material for frames for a number of reasons. One of them is the possibility to re-use it. Aluminium can relatively easily be melted and re-used of premium quality aluminium.

What's included

Frame

AL 7005, T4 and T6 heat treated, butted tubing and smooth welded in the color of your choice.

Fork

Carbon integrated headset, integrated cable routing optional, in the colour that fits in your frameset.

Headset

IS 52 bearings to your choice of cable routing (semi-integrated or fully integrated)

Spacers

Together with your frameset comes a set of 30 mm spacers. Two 10mm and two 5mm spacers.

Stem

A Raamwerk stem in matching colours to your frameset is included.

You will be asked what your preferred stem length will be, from 90, 100, 110 or 120 mm.

Integrated computer mount (optional)

With a different faceplate on the stem it is possible to mount our integrated computer mount so your handlebar will keep a clean look.

Seatmast

The ISP version of the frameset comes with a seatmast on top of your ISP. This comes in two versions, so you can chose for a 0mm setback or a 25mm setback version.

Derailleur hanger

The derailleur hanger will be delivered with your brand new frame, it won't come pre-installed as this makes the frame slightly bigger and more fragile during shipping.

Thru-axles

Raamwerk thru-axles for front- and rear wheel will be included as they are frame specific.

Crash replacment service

Your frameset comes with a crash replacement program*, so if you do crash and your bike has taken a beating we will help you to get back on the bike as soon as possible. Eligible cases will receive a 50% discount on a new frameset.
